Predefined filter structure

In this exercise, we use a simple example to describe

We have adapted the nomenclature for this  $($digital$)$  filter description to the book  "Introduction to Channel Coding".  In other  $\rm LNTww$ books often 

  1.  $\underline{x}$  denotes the filter input,

  3.  the impulse response is called  $\underline{h}$.
