The Institute for Communications Engineering
The »Institutue for Communications Engineering« has been part of the de/cit/startpage/ »School of Computation, Information and Technology« $\rm (CIT)$, which combines the disciplines of mathematics, computer science, and electrical engineering and information technology. Previously, we were part of the »Faculties of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology« for more than fifty years.
Die »Lehr- und Forschungseinheit für Nachrichtentechnik« gehört seit einer weitreichenden Strukturreform der Technischen Universität München im Herbst 2022 zur »School of Computation, Information and Technology« $\rm (CIT)$, die die Disziplinen Mathematik, Informatik sowie Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik vereint. Vorher waren wir für mehr als fünfzig Jahren Teil der »Fakultäten für Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik«.
Die Lehr- und Forschungseinheit ist intern in drei »Forschungsgruppen« unterteilt:
- die Forschungsgruppe $\rm LNT$ von Professor »Gerhard Kramer«,
- die Forschungsgruppe $\rm LÜT$ von Professor »Norbert Hanik«, und
- die Forschungsgruppe $\rm COD$ von Professor »Antonia Wachter-Zeh«.
