Welcome to the English version of LNTwww

$\text{https://en.lntwww.de}$ is an e-learning tutorial for Communications Engineering with nine didactic multimedia textbooks including exercises with solutions, learning videos, and interactive applets. It is offered by the Chair of Communications Engineering $\rm (LNT)$ of Technical University of Munich $\rm (TUM)$. It is freely accessible, registration is not necessary and no system requirements are needed.

The German-language $\text{https://www.lntwww.de}$ ⇒ "$\rm L$erntutorial für $\rm N$achrichten$\rm T$echnik im $\rm w$orld $\rm w$ide $\rm w$eb" was created between 2001 - 2021 by members of our Institute. In the spring of 2020, we started the English translation. The interim status as of 01.04.2021 is:

The book "Mobile Communications" is completed (Book & Exercises).
Currently in progress are "Signal Representation" (80%) and "Information Theory" (20%).
The other six textbooks have not yet been started.

$\rm LNTwww$ is based on the management software $\rm MediaWiki$, known by the encyclopedia „WIKIPEDIA”. On the page $\text{About LNTwww}$ you can find a kind of "User Manual" about our learning offer. Corresponding links to this file are provided at the bottom of each page between „Privacy policy” and „Disclaimers” ⇒ $\rm Imprint$.

LNTwww basiert auf der Verwaltungssoftware $\rm MediaWiki$, bekannt durch die Enzyklopädie „WIKIPEDIA”. Auf der Seite $\text{Über LNTwww}$ finden Sie eine Art „Bedienungsanleitung” zu unserem Lernangebot. Entsprechende Links zu dieser Datei gibt es auf jeder Seite unten zwischen „Datenschutz” und „Haftungsausschluss” ⇒ $\rm Impressum$.

Wir betrachten diese im März 2021 bereitgestellte Version von $\text{https://www.lntwww.de}$ als endgültig. Eine weitere Überarbeitung oder Erweiterung ist derzeit nicht geplant. Aber natürlich werden wir auch weiterhin erkannte Fehler oder Ungenauigkeiten zeitnah verbessern. Sollten Ihnen also Unzulänglichkeiten hinsichtlich Inhalt, Darstellung oder Handhabung auffallen, dann bitten wir um eine detaillierte Nachreicht per Mail an $\rm LNTwww@lnt.ei.tum.de$.
